Privacy Policy

VisionTune AI (视聆AI) · Updated and effective: October 20, 2026

This policy covers VisionTune AI (“the App”) and its product website, provided by Pan Xueyan, an individual developer. No App account is required. Gesture recognition, optional V-gesture activation, voice search and music playback run on your device. We do not upload camera frames, landmarks, recordings, speech transcripts or music to an operator server. Apple purchases, optional diagnostics, contacting support and visiting the website have the separate scopes described below.

1. Camera: purpose, permission and stopping

The front camera enables touch-free music control. Camera frames are analyzed temporarily on this device to recognize hand poses for play, pause, track navigation, volume and seeking. Optional V-gesture activation is off by default. After you enable it, the App uses gesture recognition to detect a V pose. It does not analyze face or lip features, identify people, read lips or infer emotions. The interface shows synthetic honeycomb and hand animations, not the real camera feed. Frames and temporary recognition data are used in memory for recognition and feedback, not recorded, photographed, persistently saved or uploaded, or used for advertising or model training.

The App explains the purpose before requesting system camera permission; it requests permission only after you choose Continue. You may choose Not Now or deny the system request and still import music and use basic on-screen playback controls. Once authorized, the camera may run whenever the App is in the foreground and gesture control is enabled, including while music is paused or settings or legal pages are open; it is not limited to active playback.

Turn off the gesture-control master switch in App settings to stop the camera and recognition. Going to the background also stops the camera and clears current recognition state. You can start voice search by tapping the microphone. Optional V activation works only on the foreground player, voice-search candidate and retry screens and can be disabled separately. Settings, practice and active listening never start a new recording from this gesture. Revoke camera permission in system Settings → Apps → 视聆AI / VisionTune AI → Camera (the path varies by OS version), without losing basic manual playback. The App requests no photo-library, location, contacts or cross-app tracking permission and does not depend on Apple Intelligence.

Voice search: optional microphone and speech permissions

Voice search is an optional Pro feature that searches only your imported local library. Before first use or V-gesture setup, the App explains the purpose and provides the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for review. Only Agree and Continue requests system microphone and speech-recognition permission; opening or closing a document is not consent. Launching the App alone does not request permission or start recording. Separately enabling V activation and completing authorization permits a brief search after holding a V for about 0.7 seconds on the player, or a voice command or new search on candidate or retry screens, without a confirmation tap each time. Release the gesture before triggering again. Starting a search manually does not turn on V activation. You can turn this switch off in settings. Denying or revoking either permission still allows free typed search and manual playback.

Listening displays a recording and transcript interface and pauses the App's music to reduce interference; you can cancel at any time. Each session lasts at most about 12 seconds and ends automatically after you finish speaking. Capture stops when the App goes to the background or is interrupted. The device's speech-recognition capability converts speech to text. The App explicitly requires on-device recognition and checks support for the device and selected language first. If unsupported or unavailable, it offers typed search rather than falling back to cloud recognition. No generative language model is used.

Audio buffers, speech transcripts, search terms and candidates are used only in device memory for the current search and confirmation. The App stores no recordings or transcript history, writes neither to diagnostic logs and uploads neither. Brief title or artist hints come from the local library and are used only to improve the current on-device recognition. Recognition may be incorrect; multiple candidates require touch, gesture or voice confirmation. Correct recognition or playback is not guaranteed. Manage system permissions in device settings. The App releases the microphone when listening stops.

2. Selected files, preferences and system playback

The system file picker gives the App access to audio or lyric files you select. Audio copies are stored in the App's Imported Music sandbox directory without modifying the originals. Titles, artists, albums, artwork and lyrics come from embedded metadata or LRC files you import, not online song recognition, lyric searches or artwork downloads. Deleting a song removes the App's copy and associated lyrics, not the external original.

Preferences such as appearance, language, player skin, gesture settings, the V-activation switch and enablement confirmation, guide progress, music favorites and the diagnostics switch, plus an entitlement cache for restoring the interface, are stored locally. These contain no recording or transcript history. The sleep timer applies to the current run and is not restored after relaunch. For lock-screen and system playback controls, the App supplies the current title, artist, album, artwork, duration and progress to the device's Now Playing service.

The App has no operator-hosted cloud sync. Selecting files from iCloud or another cloud drive may use that provider's network services. Local files may also enter device backups according to your Apple backup settings; this is not an operator music-upload service. Keep your own backups of important files; we cannot recover deleted local files for you.

3. Apple purchases and entitlement verification

Pro currently offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. Apple's in-app purchase system handles products, trial eligibility, purchases, verification, renewals, restores, refunds and revocations. The App may query Apple for products and valid entitlements on launch or return to the foreground. Purchase and restore buttons initiate the corresponding system flows, so the App as a whole is not entirely offline.

On your device, the App processes Apple-provided product, transaction and original-transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, revocation and renewal status, trial eligibility, storefront region and transaction environment to determine access and explain purchase results. We do not receive your Apple account email, password or card details or send transactions to our own validation server. Apple's privacy policy and terms govern payments and Apple account processing.

4. Optional diagnostics and sharing

Diagnostic logging is off by default. You can enable it in Settings → About → long-press the version number. When enabled, it records timestamps, App and OS versions, language, feature state, camera capabilities and errors, file-processing information, and product, purchase and restore results. Purchase diagnostics may include trailing transaction-identifier fragments, purchase and expiration dates, renewal state, storefront region and test/production environment. Logs may include filenames or error context and are not guaranteed to be completely anonymous.

Logs remain local. The main log is capped at 256 KiB and keeps more recent content when full. Logging stays enabled until you turn it off; turning it off stops new entries but preserves existing logs for review or clearing. Clear removes the main log and legacy crash logs. This version installs no custom crash collector; iOS diagnostics and sharing with Apple are controlled separately by system settings.

The App never sends logs automatically. Logs reach the clipboard or your chosen service only when you copy them or use the system share sheet and choose a recipient. Review them first and do not include passwords, full payment details or unrelated private files. Clearing logs in the App cannot remove copied or previously sent material; recipients handle it under their own rules. Material sent to us is used only for communication and troubleshooting.

5. Website, support and external services

Opening the website or an online policy makes a web request. Website hosting services process technical information such as IP address, requested path, time and browser to serve pages and maintain security, and may retain access or error logs. The site uses browser local storage for display preferences such as theme and language; you can clear site data in your browser. VisionTune product pages have no advertising or behavioral-analytics SDK. Offline legal pages in the App can be read without opening the website.

If you contact dayflow.cn@outlook.com, we and the email provider receive the email address, message, attachments and other material you choose to send, only to reply, handle your request and troubleshoot. You may ask us to delete support material that is no longer needed, except where retention is legally required. Email and external sharing services you choose may use global infrastructure under their providers' rules.

The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDK, does not sell or rent your data, build user profiles or send hand landmarks, recordings or speech transcripts to cloud AI. Apple system frameworks and the file, payment, browser, email or sharing services you choose participate within the scopes described above; this does not mean no external service is involved.

6. Retention, deletion and privacy requests

Music and preferences remain until you delete the relevant content, reset the applicable settings or delete the App; system offloading may preserve data. Section 4 explains diagnostics retention. Apple purchase records and system backups must be managed through the relevant Apple services. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. There is no App account or account-deletion process.

Use on-device controls to manage files, permissions and logs, or contact support to request access to, correction or deletion of support material we received. We may need appropriate verification of identity or request scope to protect that material, but will not ask for your Apple account password. We handle requests within applicable legal deadlines. The iOS sandbox, permissions and local processing reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Minors, updates and contact

The App is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use and purchase with guardian guidance. Where processing requires guardian consent by applicable law, including for children under 14 where applicable, obtain that consent first. We do not proactively collect children's personal information through the App. Contact us if a minor has mistakenly sent information to support.

Updates to this policy will be dated. If future features introduce new purposes, recipients or permissions, we will provide appropriate explanation and obtain legally required authorization. This policy does not replace specific system permission or consent for new sharing. For privacy questions and requests, email dayflow.cn@outlook.com with “VisionTune Privacy” in the subject.
